This is the 12 Year Old Original single malt from Hellyers Road in Tasmania, which was the distillery's first age statement release. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was aged in American white oak bourbon casks. Citrus is the distillery's familiar note, and here it is supported by vanilla sweetness.
The nose brings lemon curd, toffee and vanilla pod. Floral honey, sweet orange and pear tart follow on the palate, and the finish is cooked apple with cinnamon sugar.
