Hellyers Road 18 Year Old is a Tasmanian single malt from the Original Single Cask Conquête series, bottled at 61.4% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a first-fill American oak cask from 2002 until 2021, and the distillery bottled it for the French market. The outturn was 176 bottles.
On the nose there is coffee and resin, fresh-cut grass, minerals, vanilla and chocolate, with candied citrus, hay, pears, peaches and nuts. The palate brings guava, persimmon, coconut, yoghurt and cocoa. The finish is long, with white mint, saffron, cardamom, barley sugar and vanilla.
