This is a peated single malt from the Hellyers Road Distillery in Tasmania, drawn from a single cask. It was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2022 after 17 years of maturation, at a cask strength of 60.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is smoky, with dried grass, sea breeze and a hint of vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, with spicy peat, dark chocolate and a light touch of oak. The finish is long, smoky and slightly sweet, with a pleasant warmth.
