Hellyers Road Aurora Australis is a single malt from the distillery in the remote north west of Tasmania, a bottling that celebrates that location. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with crème brûlée and warm brioche, then buttery shortbread and vanilla custard, with hints of gingerbread and delicate florals. On the palate apricot and ripe peach move through velvety custard, brightened by pineapple. The finish is of medium length, with lasting sweetness.
