Hellyers Road Double Cask is a small batch Tasmanian-influenced single malt in a 700ml bottle, bottled at 46.2% ABV.
The whisky spends a minimum of five years in 200 litre American oak ex-bourbon casks. It then has a second maturation in French oak barriques that previously held Tasmanian pinot noir, which adds red berry notes.
It is described as rich and full, with raisin toast, stewed fruits and candied orange, and a hint of clove.
