Hellyers Road Original 15 Years Old (70cl, 46.2%)

A 15 year old single malt from the Hellyers Road Distillery in Tasmania, Australia, in a 70cl bottle at 46.2% ABV. It was matured in individually selected, charred American white oak casks, and the vatting and marrying were also done in wooden casks. It is non-chill-filtered, and the golden colour comes from the oak alone, with no colouring added. The flavour is described as vanilla and citrus, with a relaxed smoothness that comes from the long time in American oak.
