Hennessy Paradis Cognac (75cl)

Hennessy Paradis is a Cognac from the upper tier of the Hennessy range, sitting just below Richard Hennessy. It is named after the Paradise cellar, where the house keeps its most aged eaux-de-vie in old oak casks. The blend draws on over 100 eaux-de-vie, some aged close to a century, from the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois crus. The name goes back to a blend made in 1818 for Tsar Alexander I of Russia. The colour is golden amber. The nose is floral and fruity, with pear, apricot, raisin, rose, iris and lily. The palate offers crystallised fruit, flowers and a silky texture, and the finish is long, with fruit, flowers and warm spice.
