Hennessy X.O is a cognac that Maurice Hennessy first created in 1870 for his circle of friends. It is blended from eaux-de-vie aged in young barrels, chosen for their power and energy and for their ability to grow rounder with time, and includes cognacs aged up to 70 years.
The nose offers crystallised fruit, oak, spices and a hint of old leather. On the palate, candied fruit gives way to peppery spice, dark chocolate and oak with vanilla. The finish is long, with cinnamon and vanilla.
