Hennessy XO is a cognac created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy and Émile Fillioux. It is a blend of old eaux-de-vie that have matured slowly, and the blending has been kept up by the Fillioux family, master blenders for eight generations.
The colour is a deep amber with mahogany glints, which reflects its long ageing. The texture is smooth and rounded. It can be taken neat, over ice or with a splash of sparkling water.
