A 12-year-old blended Japanese whisky from Suntory, made with grain whisky from Chita and malt whisky from Yamazaki. Suntory discontinued it in 2015.
What sets it apart is a component matured in plum liqueur casks, added alongside the grain and malt.
The nose combines honey, dried fruit and plum with a gentle herbal note. The palate is smooth, with honey, dried fruit, soft oak and a hint of plum. The finish is medium in length, with honey and light spice fading to a clean close.
