Hibiki – 17 Year Old Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki 17 Year Old is a blended Japanese whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. The Hibiki name means resonance in Japanese. The brand was launched in 1989 to mark 90 years of Suntory Whisky, and its bottle has twenty-four facets for the traditional calendar's twenty-four seasons. Amber in colour, it has a nose of peach, apricot, melon, rose, lily and lemon leaf. The palate brings toffee, black cherry, vanilla and Mizunara oak, and the finish is sweet and fruity with a lychee aftertaste.
