Hibiki 30 Year Old Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki 30 Year Old is a blended Japanese whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is deep amber in colour. Hibiki blends malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. The bottle has 24 sides, reflecting the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese lunar calendar that inspire the range. The nose offers raisin, prune, leather and sweet chestnut. On the palate come dried fig, brown sugar, apricot jam, cedar and gingerbread. The finish is very rich, with cinnamon and Mizunara oak.
