Hibiki Blender's Choice is a blended Japanese whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Hibiki is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries.
The name means "resonance" in Japanese, and the brand was launched in 1989 to express Suntory's philosophy of living in harmony with people and nature.
The nose is aromatic, with caramelised nuts, vanilla pudding, red currants, peaches and pineapple. The palate is creamy, with toffee, dark cherry, orange peel and dried fruit, and the finish is long and slightly dry, with vanilla, soft tannins and a hint of smoke.
