Hibiki Blossom Harmony is the third edition in the Blossom Harmony series, a limited release from 2023, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Hibiki is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. Here the blenders married it with whisky finished in Sakura casks.
The nose is floral, with Sakura and fragrant olive. The palate is smooth, with acacia honey, pear and a sweetness reminiscent of Sakura mochi. The finish is long and rich, with the creaminess that marks Hibiki.
