Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select is a blended Japanese whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. Hibiki was launched in 1989, and its name means "resonance" in Japanese. The bottle has twenty-four facets, reflecting the twenty-four seasons of Japan's traditional calendar. The colour is amber. The nose offers plum in syrup, roses and a sweet woodiness, and the palate brings orange marmalade and dark chocolate with a slight bitterness. The finish is lingering, sweet and slightly acidic, with spices and wood.
