Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select Lunar New Year 2026 is a Japanese blended whisky in a festive edition marking the 2026 Spring Festival. It comes in a vermilion red box decorated with plum blossoms and pine trees in gold and black, with a 24-facet motif echoing Hibiki's decanter.
The blend is based on Hibiki Japanese Harmony, with Yamazaki sherry-cask malt added. Sherry influence is noticeable throughout, especially on the palate, giving a malty, richer whisky.
The nose shows rose, dried botanicals, toasted nuts, prunes and dark chocolate. The palate has meringue, prunes and a little cacao bitterness, and the finish is light, dry and bitter, with lingering sweetness.
