Hibiki Japanese Harmony Vivid Lights Edition (70cl, 43%)

This is Hibiki Japanese Harmony in the Vivid Lights Edition, a Japanese blended whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The bottle has integrated white LED lights that can be turned on and off. Malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries are blended with grain whisky from Chita. The whiskies come from five types of cask, among them American white oak, sherry and Mizunara oak. The Suntory Whisky blending team, led by Master Blender Shingo Torii, crafted the blend. The colour is amber. Tasting notes mention lychee, rose and sandalwood on the nose, candied orange peel and white chocolate on the palate, and a long finish with a hint of Japanese oak.
