Hickory Hill Cask Strength is a Texas bourbon from Giant Texas Distillers in Houston, bottled uncut at barrel proof, 56.5% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. No water is added after ageing.
The mash bill is 100% Texas corn, and the whiskey was aged for at least 16 months in new charred-oak barrels. It is the strongest bottling in the Hickory Hill range.
The notes mention a hint of chocolate and a note of citrus. The nose is pleasant, the palate is rich and complex with caramel, floral notes and toast, and the finish is lingering.
