Hidden Barn Organic Straight Bourbon Whiskey (53.1%)

Hidden Barn Organic Straight Bourbon is a wheated bourbon from Hidden Barn, an independent brand under Neeley Family Distillery. It is made with 100% USDA-certified organic grains from Journeyman Distillery in Michigan, in a mash bill of 70% corn, 25% wheat and 5% malted barley. Master Blender Jackie Zykan, formerly of Old Forester, blended it from just nine barrels. It is bottled at a cask strength of 53.1% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no additives. The nose brings buttery caramel, green apple and orange peel, with honeycomb and fresh bread rolls. The palate is medium-bodied, with spiced vanilla, honey and white pepper, and the finish is clean and long, with cinnamon, oak and tobacco leaf.
