Jack Daniel's is a Tennessee whiskey made at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, registered in 1866 and recognised as the first registered distillery in the United States. It is one of the distillery's top-selling bottlings.
The water is iron-free and comes from the limestone Cave Spring. The whiskey is mellowed through charcoal, a process associated with Tennessee whiskey, and the mashbill is made up of 80% corn, 12% rye and 8% malt.
