Highland Journey is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Hunter Laing & Company, bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has freshly baked wholemeal bread, vanilla sweetness, floral heather and red apple skin. The palate opens surprisingly sweet, with a large slice of lemon sponge, before intense spiced notes of cinnamon and ground black pepper arrive. The finish is of medium length, with honeyed barley and crushed almonds.
