A 12 year old Highland Park single malt in the Sunset Bottle, a travel retail edition released in the 1990s. It comes in a one-litre bottle at 43%.
The whisky was distilled in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Highland Park bottled its 12 year old at 43% through the 1980s and 1990s, and later reduced it to 40%.
The distillery dries its malt over Orcadian peat burned in its own kiln. The heavily peated malt makes up 20% of the barley in each mash, and the rest is unpeated.
