Highland Park Ice is a 17 year old single malt bottled at a cask strength of 53.9%. It matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks, and 30,000 bottles were released.
It is the Ice edition of the Ice & Fire series, which follows the Valhalla Collection.
The nose is cool, fresh pineapple and ripe mango, with wisps of silvery smoke and a cold kick of ginger root. The palate is powerful and smooth, with soft peat smoke, vanilla seed and sweet flowers. The finish is rich, creamy and oily, with long-lasting wood notes and dried spices.
