The Light is a 17 year old Highland Park matured in refill American oak casks, made on Orkney. It is a limited edition that completes the Runes series, which began with The Dark. The bottle carries a dragon on the glass, inspired by Viking drawings, with runic script on the bottle and on the oak frame that surrounds it. Tasting notes describe a gentle sweetness with pear, nutmeg and vanilla.
