This is a 16 year old Highland single malt selected and bottled by Thompson Bros., the independent bottlers behind the Dornoch Distillery. Six of its sixteen years were spent in former Moscatel casks. It was bottled in July 2026 at 45.1%, in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour, so it may turn hazy when cold or with water added.
The label, designed by KMGYEAH, shows an illustrated sardine tin.
The nose has strong orange peel, white grapefruit, honeycomb and hazelnut praline. The palate recalls orange cream chocolates, milk chocolate and caramel wafers, and the finish carries cinnamon, orange, honeycomb and vanilla before toasted oak.
