A rye whiskey from Hillrock Estate Distillery in New York, bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It spends its first period of maturation in American oak barrels.
It is then finished in barrels that previously held 1er Cru Sauternes wine, which gives this double cask rye its character.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla and dried fruits. On the palate come honey, apricot and citrus, together with the spice and warmth of rye.
