Hillrock Estate Distillery Single Malt is an American single malt made in New York's Hudson Valley, in a 750ml bottle. It is made entirely from malted barley grown on the estate and floor malted there, and it is matured in oak barrels.
The aim is a balance of malt sweetness and warm oak spice.
The nose has honey, toasted grain, caramelised sugar, baking spice and light oak. On the palate come malt sweetness, vanilla, toffee, roasted nuts and gentle spice. The finish is smooth and warm, with lingering malt, caramel and soft oak.
