House of Lords 5 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is soft, clean and mostly sweet, with honey, caramelised vanilla and biscuit dough, light citrus such as lemon peel, ripe white fruit and a gently grassy, young-grain background. The palate is light to medium in body, with toffee, butter and malt, then gentle baking spice of ginger or fine pepper and a soft fruitiness of banana or ripe pear.
The finish is short to medium, warm and lightly sugared, with clean malted cereal and a thin, dry touch of wood.
