It was distilled in July 1998 and bottled in July 2022 after 24 years in a single refill hogshead, which gave 243 bottles. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.7%, without chill filtration or added colouring. The nose is rich with fruit, fresh herbs and fragrant tea spices, with gentle oak and sweetness. The palate is full-bodied, with macerated fruit, orange sherbet, cherry cola and aromatic herbs. The finish is long and sweet, with lingering fruit, gentle spice and drying oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
