This is a single cask Chichibu from Ichiro's Malt, number four in the Flower Series. It was bottled for La Maison du Whisky in Singapore at a cask strength of 64.4%, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2015 and matured in a single first-fill bourbon barrel, number 5485. The release came to 176 bottles. Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan, opened in 2008. It was founded by Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder of Hanyu distillery, and the first Chichibu releases under the Ichiro's Malt name appeared in 2011.
