Ichiro's Malt Chichibu Chibidaru 2013 Japanese Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 63%)

This is a Japanese single malt from the Chichibu distillery of Ichiro's Malt, bottled at 63% in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of two Chibidaru casks, numbers 2409 and 2410, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2018 exclusively for Mitsukoshi Isetan. Chibidaru casks are small, similar to quarter casks. The higher proportion of wood to liquid means more contact with the wood, which makes for a faster maturation.
