On The Way is a Chichibu single malt from Japan, released in 2015 with 10,700 bottles filled. The series was made to show how the distillery's whisky has progressed towards its goal of a 10 year old.
This release is a vatting of various vintages, from 2008 onwards. The whisky was matured in first fill and refill bourbon casks and is reportedly finished in Mizunara oak casks. It is bottled at 55.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
