A single malt from the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan, released as the Paris Edition and bottled in 2020. Its design is inspired by the Obélisque de Louxor, the ancient Egyptian monument installed in Paris in 1836.
The whisky was drawn from a range of casks: a first-fill bourbon cask (peated), three virgin oak casks, Port pipes, two quarter casks (chibidaru) and a red wine cask. It was bottled at 52.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 1,833 bottles.
