Ichiro's Malt Chichibu Paris Edition 2022 (70cl, 51.5%)

Ichiro's Malt Chichibu Paris Edition 2022 is a Japanese single malt bottled exclusively for La Maison du Whisky, at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of Chichibu mostly aged in ex-bourbon barrels and peated Chichibu, with ages between six and seven years. The release pays homage to France. Each bottle carries a lithograph by Henri Rivière from his Thirty-six Views of the Eiffel Tower, published in 1902, and this one shows Plate 9, De Notre-Dame. The 36 different labels are spread across 1900 bottles. It is described as smooth and balanced, with sweet honey, peat smoke, chocolate, spices and baked apple.
