Ichiro's Malt & Grain Blended Whisky (70cl, 46.5%)

A blended whisky from Venture Whisky, the independent company founded by Ichiro Akuto in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. It follows Akuto's idea of a world blended whisky, combining malt distilled at his own Chichibu Distillery with grain whiskies chosen from distilleries in Scotland, Ireland and Canada. The flavour runs to vanilla cream, honey, apple, pear, peach, banana and hazelnut chocolate, with nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and pepper. The body is smooth and light to medium.
