Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve Japanese Pure Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a Japanese pure malt whisky at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a combination of casks and given a finish in French oak wine barrels. The blending and cask management are the work of Ichiro Akuto. The nose brings red berries, dried fruit and subtle spice. On the palate there is dark chocolate, plums and toasted oak, with a gentle sweetness and a hint of tannin from the wine cask.
