Wine Wood Reserve is a blended malt from Ichiro's Malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of Chichibu, Hanyu and several other whiskies from around the world.
The vatted whisky is matured in an ovum-shaped cask made from French oak, shaped in the Charentes region by the Taransaud company.
The nose is sweet, with wine notes, red berries and some spice. On the palate come fresh apples, caramel sweetness, mild spices and light tannins, leading to a medium-long, dry finish with a subtle chocolate bitterness.
