Ichiro's Malts Chichibu On The Way is a Japanese single malt from the Chichibu distillery, bottled in 2015 at 55.5% in a 70cl bottle. Only 9900 bottles were released worldwide. It is a vatting of three casks: two bourbon barrels and one Mizunara Japanese white oak cask, which holds some of the oldest whisky made at the distillery. The nose offers pear, malt and popcorn, the palate tropical notes, and the finish hints of pepper.
