A 30 year old single malt from Imperial distillery in Speyside, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd. The distillery closed in the 1980s and was later brought back to life by Chivas Brothers.
The nose offers honey, citrus, vanilla and light oak. On the palate come apple, gooseberry, creamy sweetness and gentle wood with a little smoke, followed by a long, fruity finish. Despite its 30 years, the wood does not dominate.
