InchDairnie – KinGlassie 2017/2025 8 Year Old Double Matured Ex-Bourbon & Amontillado Sherry Casks (70cl, 46.3%)

An eight-year-old single malt from the InchDairnie Distillery in Fife, distilled in 2017 and bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is one of the first two single malts released under the KinGlassie name, which reached the market in May 2025. The whisky matured for five years in ex-bourbon casks, then three years in Amontillado sherry casks. It is made from Fife barley malt and Scottish mainland peat, and is non-chill-filtered with no added colour. The nose combines intense smoke and tobacco with roasted almonds. On the palate, velvety smoke meets pronounced nuttiness and a dense, almost chewy texture with a hint of charcoal. The finish is long, soft and elegantly smoky, with nutty notes lingering.
