InchDairnie – Ryelaw Scottish Rye Whisky (70cl, 46.3%)

Ryelaw is the first release from InchDairnie distillery in Glenrothes, Fife. It is a Scottish rye whisky bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The mash is 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley, filtered through a Meura mash filter, one of only two in use in Scotland. It is double distilled in pot stills, the first with rare double condensers and the second a bespoke Lomond Hill still, then matured in charred new oak casks. The distillery notes a spicy rye nose with mellow oak and soft vanilla. The palate has peppery rye, an oily texture, biscuity cereal and dried fruit.
