This Inchgower was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024 in Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask range, at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a Speyside distillery known for a coastal style, shaped by its closeness to the fishing port of Buckie. Only 710 bottles were filled. The 14 year old whisky matured in a sherry butt and was re-racked in 2022 into refill PX casks that had previously held Springbank whisky. This gives the palate a light peat note, sweet with a hint of salt.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
