This is a 14-year-old Inchgower bottled by The Caskhound, a German independent bottler, at 51.4% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky matured first in a bourbon cask, then spent 1.5 years finishing in an ex-Islay bourbon quarter cask. The bottling is limited to 191 bottles.
Tasting notes describe a summer meadow, spice, warm vanilla sauce, orange blossom, ripe peach and a faint trace of peat smoke on the nose. The palate is creamy and oily, with dried peach, pepper, malt and honey. The finish is medium in length, with vanilla, oak spice and a last quiet note of peat.
