Inchgower – 2001 The Maltman 18 Years Old Sherry Butt (70cl, 50.1%)

An 18 year old single malt from Inchgower, bottled by Meadowside Blending in its The Maltman range. It was distilled in April 2001, matured in a sherry butt and bottled in September 2019 at 50.1%, in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 482 bottles. Inchgower stands near Buckie in Banffshire and draws its water from springs in the Menduff Hills. Most of its spirit goes into blends such as Bell's, White Horse and Johnnie Walker, and only about 1% is sold as single malt.
