Inchgower – 2009 17 Year Old Connoisseurs Choice (70cl, 57.7%)

This is a 17 year old Inchgower from the Connoisseurs Choice range, distilled in 2009 and bottled at a cask strength of 57.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The whisky was matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead, and the bottling is limited to 314 bottles. Tasting notes mention milk chocolate, blueberries, fig cake, pressed apple, brown sugar and stewed fruits, with spicy citrus and cocoa powder.
