This Inchgower is a Speyside single malt distilled in 1995 and matured for 25 years in a sherry butt. Douglas Laing bottled it independently in its Old Particular range at 51.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 242 bottles.
The nose starts sweet and rich in barley, then brings tangerines, brown sugar and damp oak. The palate has cinnamon and nutmeg running to vanilla essence and stewed fruits. The finish is long, with golden syrup, a slight floral note, milk chocolate and barley.
