Indri – Agneya Sherry and Bourbon Cask Indian Single Malt (75cl)

Indri Agneya is an Indian single malt matured in a combination of ex-bourbon American oak casks and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, bottled in 75cl. The name comes from a Sanskrit word meaning belonging to fire. The bourbon casks add vanilla, caramel and toasted wood, while the sherry casks bring dried fruits, warm spices and nutty undertones. The nose combines chocolate, vanilla, spice, dried apple and apricot with fruit jam and peat dust. Mango, ripe banana, toffee and light spice lead the palate, with melon and a soft peat smoke. The finish is long, sweet and salty, with smoke, fruit and gentle spice.
