Indri – Indian Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 46%)

This is Indri single malt in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It is distilled in Indri, Haryana, near the Himalayan foothills and the Yamuna basin, from indigenous six-row barley grown in Rajasthan. It has been maturing since 2010 and is aged in three kinds of cask: ex-bourbon, ex-wine and PX sherry. The wine casks are credited with a honey and pepper note, the PX sherry with sweet black currant, and the bourbon with vanilla and coconut. The colour is golden amber, and the flavour is nutty, with burnt pineapple, citrus and raisins.
