Indri – Indian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Indri is an Indian single malt whisky distilled in Indri, in Haryana, near the Himalayan foothills and the Yamuna basin. It is made from six-row barley grown in Rajasthan and has been maturing since 2010. This is a 70cl bottle at 46% abv. The Trini expression is matured in three kinds of cask: ex-bourbon, ex-wine and PX sherry. The bourbon wood adds vanilla and coconut, the wine casks a honeyed, peppery note, and the PX sherry casks a dark amber colour with sweet black currant notes. The whisky is golden amber, with a nutty depth and flavours of burnt pineapple, citrus and raisins.
