Indri Trini is an Indian single malt bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It was made by Piccadily Agro Industries at the distillery in Indri, in Haryana, from Indian six-row barley.
The name comes from 'the three wood': the whisky matured in ex-bourbon barrels, ex-French wine casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings Lapsang souchong tea, caramelised pineapple, honeyed vanilla and coconut custard. On the palate come burnt pineapple, orange cream, allspice and cinnamon, then raisin, cherry and passion fruit. The finish is long, with toasted oak, dried fruit and black tea.
